[He picks up the little thing once he does come across it, baffled. Sure can't be his. Maybe it's Cayde's. For...whatever reason. He sets it down, have to ask Cayde about it.
Five minutes later he'll come across it again. What. Why is there a ...yeah, that sure is a baby.]

ACTION: A small box outside your door contains a handful of...
[ Recently Bass requested some important information. Who... is the strongest Cybertronian on this ship. He received a hot tip that it was 'Shockwave' but also 'not the Senator one'. There were a few thoughts that went through his processor. One... it was really dumb that there were two people here with the SAME NAME. It must get confusing! Two, while he does (surprisingly) know what a Senator is, he has no idea what a Senator looks like. Do they wear signs? Bass guesses probably not.
This leads him to one conclusion: He has to fight BOTH of them to make sure he's actually fighting the strong one.
This leads him to a second conclusion: He has no idea where Shockwave lives. He could ask for direction, ask if anyone knows... but that begs the question... If they know how strong Bass is will they even tell the truth?
There is now one solution: He has to canvas the ship himself and check every inhabited room he comes across.
So there's the backstory. And that's why Bass, armored up in his winged Treble armor (being able to fly covers ground quicker!) is pounding aggressively at your door.
[ Bass nods. He's usually not this polite but something about this guy... he's just kinda gut like... uncle vibes? Maybe? Bass is a robot he doesn't have uncles so who's he to put that kind of label on someone. ]
He was honestly expecting something, will, mundane? Like a convenience store or... some... other... kind of store. Look he's not really huge on shopping!
But that definitely grabs his attention and his optics light up excitedly. ]
SHOW ME YOUR WARES!
[ ...Wait there's something you have to do when interacting with normal people you want to get to like you. What was... ]
[Banshee straightens at the enthusiastic shouting. This boy would give Shaxx a run for his money. The name flickers briefly in his mind, but he doesn't try too hard to draw up the face it's connected to. Not when he's got someone wanting to see his stuff.]

[Nodding, he turns to lead the way back into the generous space. It's...mostly empty, especially the further back you go, but he's got enough of a setup in the front of the room for a work area and storage. Cayde's even found him some shelving somehow, so he can put on display the weapons he's managed to fix up, modify, and in some cases design. He's had plenty of time to design.
It's not just firearms either. There are some blades, some bows, not a whole lot, but a guy's got to start somewhere. Of course, they're mostly sized for people of a human scale, although in the spacious area there are signs of tinkering and work on things of the larger end.]
[ Base follows him in, head whipping around this way and that, his fingers twitching like a kid in a toystore who just wants to put his hands on EVERYTHING. That old idiot Wily WISHES honestly. ]
Got anything weird? Something that makes you nervous to test out?!
[ There HAS to something dangerous and experimental in here! That's his jam. ]
[The Exo looks around. Hadn't he been working on something..? His optics alight upon something on the workbench behind his makeshift counter, hefty-looking. Some kind of rocket launcher?]
Don't know about nervous, just haven't got a chance to try this'n yet. ....
[He strokes his chin as he picks it up for inspection. It looks mostly done? What had this one been for again?]
[ Bass stares at it in wide eyed appreciation. He blinks and slaps his hands down on a table for the added dramatics because the situation calls for it. ]
That... is SO damn cool.
[ He finds his own weaponry and copy tech to be superior to most other forms of weaponry... but sometimes you see something that just makes you appreciate stuff. ]
[Sometimes it's nice hearing such plain but genuine awe over his work.
It's nearly half as tall as Bass is. Banshee sets it down on the table there in front of Bass before turning to pick up a small case of some of the rounds he'd prepared.]
Max capacity's four. Can't remember exactly what the specs were, gonna have to check my notes. Think it's got some electrical discharge.
[Some things he can at least sort of tell from the design.]
[ Banshee gets a special reminder duck! It's a helpful little guy that you can tell to set reminders for you! Like a yellow rubber Alexa. Of course you DO have to remember to set the reminders up... ]
